Well, it looks like the wedding and honeymoon will now take place during part of a mandatory, company-wide 10-day non-paid furlough. Luckily the pay reduction will be spread out over several months’ worth of paychecks.
So, now we are staying on the Disney honeymoon an extra day and I’ll have vacation days left for later in the year. So see, there is a silver lining. It’s been a really busy day (severe weather, finding out about the furlough, etc.) and I am EXHAUSTED but I’ll have lots more to blog about soon! -K
