Today I talked on the phone with a rep from Miller’s Grand Events.

I was able to get price quotes on the following:

  1. 10 “Crystal blue” organza table overlays
  2. 100 white chair covers.
  3. 15×15 dance floor (she recommended this size for 100 guests): marbleized or black & white checkerboard.
  4. Cake stand, hammered steel, 19 inches round.
  5. Votives, 4 per table.
  6. Round mirrors, 1 per table.

And I think this is pretty much it for what we need as far as rentals go.

My mom and Brian are against the chair covers, but you know what? It’s my wedding and I want chair covers! The chairs are ugly without covers and looks like everyone is at a business meeting or something.

I’m not sure about the dance floor. I like the idea of the black & white checkerboard, but I need to check on the cost and sizes available with The Beach Club as well.

I’m also not sure if I want to tie tulle around the backs of the chairs or not. Would it make it too frou-frou? Maybe I could do a different type of fabric instead?
