Anyone who knows my mom knows that she loves a bargain. She is one of the only people I know who pays attention to rewards programs, and she also participates in rebate programs like eBates.
Anyone who knows my mom also knows that she is a Diet Coke addict. She recently cut down to 1 Diet Coke per day — I am so proud of her! Anyway, Coke has a program called MyCokeRewards where you enter codes from caps and 12-pack boxes and redeem them for all sorts of stuff. My mom mentioned to me a while back that MyCokeRewards offers redemption for a free 16×20 collage poster on Snapfish. So tonight, I finally got off my big butt, redeemed some MyCokeRewards points and created a collage poster with the wedding in mind: I plan on getting a whitewashed ‘shabby chic’ sort of frame for it to display at the gift table at the reception. We’re also going to display a photo book that I recently made as a surprise for Brian on Shutterfly. We’re also toying with the idea of displaying a photo slideshow on a digital frame — it would be engagement photos mixed in with photos of us throughout our relationship and growing up. I thought that may be a cheaper option than paying someone to make a DVD slideshow. Thoughts? -K
